Originally built in 1973 by the Gaylord family, the Cliff Lodge has since doubled in size and increased dramatically in amenities and services since it was purchased by Snowbird owner Dick Bass. Summer of 2006 marked the completion of a $5.6 million renovation to the Cliff Lodge with award-winning architecture, a large collection of fine Oriental rugs, relaxing accommodations and nature at its best. As Snowbird's only ski-in/ski-out accessibility, the Cliff Lodge is the flagship of the 4 lodging properties at Snowbird Resort.
